And what you said is exactly the truth. So when I park my white van with Florida tags on it, I line up the aisle I park in with whatever part of the building is straight ahead. Helps keep me sharp!!

I guess when get older and have nothing better to do, you make up stories and then you forget you made it up and believe it.

I remember 30 years ago when people put fake bananas on their antenna's to find their cars in the parking lots.

Can you imagine what Conspiracy theorists could dream up about that??

This has good reviews but it's only available on apple products. So no android, linux/unix, microsoft, or chrome os.

As Co-Chair of our local LGBTQ+ Village Club, I can assure you that these colorful scrubbies on Village cars mean nothing to us.

Dear folks who don't live here or aren't here now visiting.

There aren't any Loofahs.

If there were they are to try to find your car in a crowded parking lot.

If you don't agree, get into your car right now and drive to the local grocery store and count Loofah's.

See? Nada. And they aren't for anything but trying to find your car put there by very uncool folks.

It is just another Villages myth. They are simply to help people find their car or golf cart in a parking lot.

The colors are simply preference or what they happened to grab off the shelf.

First, I will tell you what those loofahs really mean. AND THEN I will tell you what used to be said — but only if you promise not to believe that scandalous rumor:

Those loofahs are truly and merely to indicate where the car is parked.

I don’t have a loofah on my car. But as the owner of a white car with Florida plates, I can tell you that not paying perfect attention to where I had parked has caused me to end up pushing my grocery cart aimlessly through Publix parking lot, while trying to look confident — like I know whereinthehell I parked that Honda.

BUT somehow, somewhere, a long time ago, a rumor was started that said those loofah’d cars belonged to swingers, swappers, a key-party group. Not true. I have NEVER once seen anything unseemly in the backseats of those cars.

That salacious loofah rumor went around about the same time as the one that said to never wear red shoes while sitting at an outside bar in TV or people would think you were a hooker. (That rumor was so long ago that Brownwood had not even been built yet and LSL City Fire had a different name.)

All righty then, now, I have cleared all that up. Aren’t you glad you asked.
I am always astounded how outsiders believe all these ignorant rumors that get created by jealous people (mostky outside haters) and it’s shocking how people gossip all over the country about our community!!! Why don’t people have common sense that if it sounds totally rediculous, than how can it be true??? ... I never fell for any rumors about TV! Lots dumb people in our society! The hateful liar political forum is proof of the mass unintelligence!!! I try not to get angry about dumb humans anymore! 🤦*♀️

As you get older dementia sets in and your memory is not a sharp as it used to be. People use them to be able to find their car or golf cart easier. I'm still in my fifties and I'm thinking about buying one cuz you'd be surprised how many times I walked the parking lot looking for my car.
