They were here when we moved in some stupid yahoo decided it would be nice to get in and get pictures of they with the Buffalo, Buffalo did not want a close up and boogered the idiot up a little. they sued the villages. Guess they could not read the signs that said the buffalo are wild and do not go near them. Don't renumber what state they were from but the education seems to lacking when it comes to reading. Needless to say, they won and the buffalo were pulled from the village. I miss them too.

Some dumb idiot grandfather was trying to put his 4 or 5 year old granddaughter on one of the buffaloes that was near the fence near Freedom Pointe when they were located there. Because of his stupidity and the huge potential for a lawsuit, they Developer took them where they are not accessible, IF they still have them after all these years. Some people are complete morons.

The story I heard was that a grandparent put their grandchild on the back of a buffalo to take a picture. Did not hear if anyone was injured, but that was the demise of the buffalo.

Been there, ate that!

It’s sad our lives are ruled by the actions of people doing stupid things. Sad we can’t sue for stupidity. Family wanted to sue TV so why didn’t TV sue for not following the posted warnings.

It got really hot one summer and they grew wings… Buffalo hot wings….ba dum

As I heard it they were removed be cause a child was severely bitten by one as a careless parent failed to supervise and then sued.
|
Someone's kid was where he should not have been as indicated by the posted signs ... sitting on the fence. The parents decided to sue, and so the buffalo all were removed. Once again, lack of personal responsibility.

Hello.
That would be the preserve across Morse BLVD from where the former Hacienda Hills Country Club was located. My backyard. The Bison are gone. Most logical assumption is the preserve is a bit too small those big animals As did the Burrowing Owls. Coyotes got them. Lately there are what appears to be 4 Coyotes moving all over. and on some days there may be a red fox in there. Apparently, the Foxes are moving down the panhandle Nowadays it is all Tortoises and birds galore. For some extra fun, go check the big lakes by the Morse Gate. There are huge Brown Turtles (softshells?) in all of them. Size of a doormat. I have already spotted about 2 dozen. https://www.districtgov.org/PdfUploa...nformation.pdf |
Very stupid people. Why would you ever decide to put your grandchild on top of a 2000 pound beast that can run fast and will charge / trample you? The big males in the group are very territorial.
