I'd like to see some kind of micro brewery here.
|
I would like to see another Katie Belle's at Brownwood, with live nightly entertainment, a state of the art sound system, and a five-star restaurant. And how about another Church on the Square?
|
Tim Horton's Coffee
Swiss Chalet Chicken And why don't the grocery stores in The Villages sell vegetable bread? |
Another vote for Cosco!

A terrific thread. Here are my suggestions for adding to CR466a.
1) A " Storage Facility " 2) A " Mattress Store " 3) A " Chiropractor " 4) A " Law Firm " 5) A " Used Furniture/Clothing " 6) Last but not to be overlooked... Yet another " Strip Mall " |
Planet Fitness, cheese cake factory, surf & turf market, southern steer butcher shop, traders joes,

Ann Taylor Loft...Wegmans...Wawa...Trader Joes. The women's clothing store selection in this area is pitiful!!

I would like Mystic Ice Cream in every town square.

I just love the villages the way it is now----This is paradise -- how can anyone improve paradise ------ be happy for what you have and dont be greedy - I see some tv lovers have wished for 10 - 12 things that they dont have now---I have the best of everything ---- Love tv -- January is positive month

Two needed..........
1. Would love to see a new Ollie's Frozen Custard south of 466A. - love that stuff but a real hike up there from Brownwood area. 2. drastically needed - a golf cart accessible gas station south of 466A near Brownward area. - closest now is at Colony Plaza about a 20 minute trip by golf cart. |

I would prefer BJ's over Costco, but would welcome either as long as they were on the south end of TV. And another vote for Trader Joe's and more non-chain healthy restaurants. I'm sure the next couple of years will bring a variety of new resources, especially around Brownwood. Exciting! |

Clermont has a new Hobby Lobby, not a Home Goods.
|
Costco, another Publix, gas stations, car wash, JC Penny's, Apple store, breakfast restaurants. All down near 466A or Brownwood

Costco, Wegmans, Trader Joe's, WaWa, and a really good high end special occasion place to eat.
|
I would like to see a Costco and trader Joes.
Anxious to see what goes in at Brownwood. Just heard today a Cheesecake Factory, truth or rumor I do not know. . |
Costco,Costco, that would take that 1 1/2 hr. Ride on a busy road away.

There are thousands of musicians here in the Villages. You have to drive all the way to Ocala or Orlando to get to a good music store. I'm kind of surprised that with the Villages population exceeding that of Ocala and Leesburg combined that someone wouldn't open a good music store here.
|
Ditto on Costco
|
Isn't WaWa something like a 7-11 and usually hooked onto a filling station?
Don't the little convenience stores hooked on to RaceTrack stations provide what you would need from a WaWa - but I may be 100% wrong on what I think a WaWa store is. |
Wawa
OMG no Wawa is special. FAR superior to racetack, 7-11, etc, no contest. Soft pretzels, hoagies, fresh made sandwiches, FREE atm withdraws Bring Wawa to the Villages! :BigApplause:

Costco for sure and Chipotle second.
|
A really high quality, expansive offering, bakery. You know - with special holiday breads, pies, cakes, rolls, etc. along with the standard offerings. I am totally surprised that no one has seen the need.

Red Robin!!!

One more vote for Costco.

I love so much about TV, but am adding some fun "nice to have" items and other items that would really take it to the next level:
*Wegmans Food Market *Tim Horton's Coffee Shop *AAA-type service for golf cart breakdowns *Charging stations for electric carts at the Regional Rec Centers (all colleges have electric car charging stations) *GPS/Google Maps for Golf Cart/Multi-Modal Paths *Preferred Seating at the squares for Villages ID holders *Additional Bowling Alleys at LSL and Brownwood *Larger Print Signage on Golf Cart/Multi-Modal Paths *Catholic Church on the South end of TV *Ted's Hot Dog Restaurants (Charcoal grilled year-round) *TV Newspaper with Hard News/Editorials *Gas station near LSL/Sweet Bay *Garbage & Recycling Totes (with covers) (Ban plastic bags placed outside on curb - inviting vermin). *EZ Pass Type Transponders to open gates (versus having open winder, scan card) *Racquet Ball courts *College level courses at Life Time Learning College *Farmers Market at Squares *Food & Wine training kitchens *Employment Center/Call Centers for Work at Home Opportunities (great jobs for retirees!) Hope this stimulates some discussion and is meant to be thought provoking. |

There is a Catholic Church on the south end of TV. St. Vincent de Paul. I have heard nothing but praise for Wegmans. Remember to put all of your wishes and suggestions into the yearly survey from the developer. It gives them clout to show some of these businesses they are wanted. |
Thank you Gracie! You are a class act!
