I was going to say, "See you later alligator" as something one does not hear anymore........

However, your word "skeeve" was one we heard used often in our teens down in Jersey.......haven't heard that word used since the 1960's.

(verb) to gross out; to digust; to make your skin crawl

Grossed out, disgusted, to get a sketchy feeling about a situation.

Originates from the Italian word "schifo" which means disgust.

It really skeeved me out when he ate the gummy bear off the floor in the movie theater.
or
Twenty-year-old guys who date girls too young to drive really skeeve me out.

I remember snowing down south. NO one wears slips anymore.

Hey daddy-O. Cool it pops.

Skeeve : To totally dislike something, to be disgusted. "I skeeve that" or "I'm skeeved by him".

A gross person can also be called a "skeeve" or a "skevoose".

From the Italian "mi fa schifo" meaning "it makes me sick" and/or "schifoso", meaning "disgusting".

From Dictionary.com (anyone who comes from Brooklyn, N.Y.C. or Jersey has heard it.

[skeev] Slang.

noun

Also, skeever. an immoral or repulsive person.

verb (used with object)

to cause disgust in (often followed by out ): This place is so full of mold that it really skeeves me out.

to be disgusted by: people who skeeve public restrooms.

verb (used without object)

to cause disgust or feel disgusted: The mess just made me skeeve.

Skeevy........he is "skeevy"

Heard it all during our teenaged years. It was a common slang word.
