Besides now Ohio St. doesn't have to bad mouth to many Mich. football fans, just kidding, LOL!

Detroit is making a HUGE comeback. The downtown area is being revitalized, if you could have seen it a few years ago and compare it to today it's amazing. Dan Gilbert, the owner of Quicken Loans is buying up and refurbishing many, many properties, hotels, etc.
By the way...we can still talk about Ohio State :)

I know some of the other formerly busy developments in s Florida are losing retirees to The Villages and at least two spread all the bad news about TV they can but it is just sour grapes. Most people here came from some other state at least originally. We are all different and that is great. It would be so boring otherwise.

Heaven........................No, it's Iowa.

What about the US territoties? We come from Puerto RIco and friends are from the USVI.

I called the office and they told me that Florida had 6334. How many are from outside the USA...?

I saw somewhere that the average Villager moves 1-2x within TV--so would they count as Florida residents on that move? Could skew the count.

deceptive, if you moved to Florida for a few months and then closed on a house they consider you from Florida.
Not deceptive. It's based on your last address. That's where you moved from, not where you were born and raised.

Count me as having been born, lived and worked in Florida all my life. (except for a year in VietNam). I have never even seen snow close up.

Should have let me know sooner. We get an average of 122" per year with a record of 194". Would have shipped you some

IMHO - It doesn't matter where we came from, but "we are here, in TV".

Nuff said....................
