Me, I would only buy an electric ParCar. Great range, 5 year warranty, etc. One problem with gas carts is that nearly all gas in this area is at least 10% Ethanol and ethanol deteriorates quickly. That is what causes that horrible smell from gas carts. Just a little STABIL or a similar product would reduce or eliminate the smell. A regular tune-up would help with the noise. Agreed, one could drive a gas cart to Tampa and back and you can tweek them to run 35mph but electrics can go 80 miles on a charge which is several trips from top to bottom of TV and you can talk to your wife without yelling. So, if you don't want to tune your gas cart and buy some fuel stabilizer, please buy an electric.

We have a 2011 gas Yamaha purchased from VGCS and love it. Have not had any complaints so far. Purchased it in November last year and drive it fairly regularly. My wife wants her own and I have told her I would like her to go to Streetrodz, but she thinks $20,000 is too much to pay for a golf cart. (she's right of course) But, they are definitely worth checking out if you have the money. They are built with a Club Car chasis and stretched to make the final cart to exactly 1/8 scale of the original. Go check them out just for fun. Across CR 101 from Crispers in that little strip mall.

Since you've had good experience with Yamaha, why not stick with it? Repair shops I've spoken with advise they're having problems getting part for the Chinese carts.

EZ GO electric is the best choice for us. No Stink, no excessive noise.
