Yes, they do. It is called Prism. I believe it is available in most (all??) of the The Villages. There could be some areas still using DSL that are too far from a switching station to have enough bandwidth to support TV. A call to CenturyLink will let you know for sure.

We got Comcast/Infinity internet only for 19.99 a month (w/auto pay) for the first 12 months, through Tom at the VillagesAV.com. Give him a call if you have any questions.
After the 12 months, Infinity asked for 69.99 a month. No big deal I knew it was going up. When I told them to turn it off they gave it to me for 39.99 w/local TV (not HD) and HBO. We know they all play that game. It's just the cost of play to pay. Tom put an antenna in for us too, so we don't use their TV service at all. We do use the HBO on our Roku because it's part of our Infinity service. YMMV |

CenturyLink has begun advertising Internet-only Price For Life - no contract, no hidden fees, no increase in cost as long as you keep it.
The television ad says up to 25 Mbps for $45/month. A mailer I received this week says up to 60 Mbps for $55/month. Since I pay Comcast $49.95/month for 10 Mbps, I'm interested. |

The 200 dollar router is the price at Best Buy for the same router used by Comcast. Does your 69 dollar router have a landline connection for a phone? Also, I don't understand how Comcast can check their equipment while talking to you on the phone. And, if you have a defective router that is under warranty, how long are you going to be without internet service while you try to enforce the warranty?

Paid $55 on Amazon for our Motorola (Comcast compatible) router two years ago. Never a problem.
$200 from best buy or $10 a month from Comcast. You do the math. Sent from my SM-T700 using Tapatalk |

Do these cheaper modems have a phone connection? My phone connects to the back of the modem.

I was paying $30 per month for 25 Mbps through Comcast. Just renegotiated with them for $40 per month for 75 Mbps for the next 12 months. I call every year to find their best deal and have never paid more than $40. For a couple of years I was getting the 75 Mbps for $20. My modem costs $60 and is certified for Comcast and it supports my Ooma VoIP home phone.

Well, I just got my Comcast bill and my $40 per month plan turned into $50 per month. Seems they added HBO and other streaming TV services to my internet plan without telling me it would cost an extra 10 bucks.
I called today and complained about deceptive practices and got them to sell me 25 Mbps service for $30 per month for the next 12 months.
