Hearing aids and eye glasses. Both are great deals and quality.

Food wise, meat quality is fabulous. Never disappointed. Buy a lot of frozen stir fry vegetables, coffee, cases of their chopped tomatoes

So someone could ask you what kind of coke you drink, and you could say pepsi?

Couldn't that create confusion if you ordered a coke in a restaurant (although you wanted Pepsi)?

Most restaurants have either a Coke product or a Pepsi product but not both and when you order a Coke in a Pepsi house, they usually ask “is Pepsi alright?”

I actually discussed this with someone just a few days ago again the whole thing out there when the waitress says, "Would you like a coke?" And the reply, "Yeah, sure. I'll have a Pepsi."

Too funny. Don't know why that's a thing, or was when I was a kid. Definitely a regional thing. Didn't know they did that in the South, too.

I am nothing if not a product of So Cal and the South. So, yes, every soft drink is a coke. If they ask if Pepsi is okay, I will usually say, "No" and opt for a Pepsi-product - usually Mountain Dew (Originated with Moon shiners in Knoxville, TN).

As for the meat at Costco, I only know this: I worked with a guy - a very serious and solid guy. His father-in-law was a meat purveyor. He told me that there are true differences in meat, Prime vs. Choice, 5-star vs 1-star, etc. He told me 5-star meat goes to white-linen table cloth dining establishments. 4-star goes to less so. 3-star goes to chains like Chili's and Applebee's and most grocery stores. 2-star goes to discount grocery stores (like Food4Less). 1-star goes to prisons and institutional customers. Then he said to me, "Do you know who else gets 5-star meat?" He then told me it was Costco that also got 5-star meat.

In my experience, it is very high quality. I also have been going to Costco since it was a Price Club (before it was Price-Costco).

chicken breasts, salmon, Siete chips, Rao's eggplant(the best!), plain yogurt + blueberries. Sorry to see they replaced yogurt cups with ice cream - it was the only healthy thing in food court.

Currently, my Costco is still selling Pepsi products.

Hope you won’t be disappointed when your Costco changes to Coke. All Costco’s are changing to Coke products and it’s supposed to be completed by late fall.

Wish they still did kraut. Thanks, Covid.

We are also long-time members since the days of Price Club. We buy essentially all of our meat there as well as frozen salmon and seafood. In fact, we have purchased most of the favorite items mentioned in this thread at many Costcos from Florida to New York to Canada to Tennesse to California. The consistency of quality and pricing is outstanding. We also got a Sam Clubs membership when in the Villages. Sams Club is good; Costco is a notch above. The arrival of Costco is like having good schools, it increases home values a bit since many people want to live near one.

I agree with your list totally but I'd add Kirklands Coffee and Coffee pods.

Seen on FB, not confirmed..

Buyers are racing to buy and lease electric vehicles before the $7,500 EV tax credit goes away on September 30.

Now, Costco is sweetening the pot with incentives worth up to $3,000 for members who buy certain electric models. Those vehicles include the Volvo EX30, GMC Hummer EV, Chevrolet Equinox EV and Cadillac Optiq.

The latest list of deals includes some new additions, and the current offers are good through September 30.

Prescription Glasses in my old frames, less than a week. Fresh baked goods, produce, fuel and if I have to buy protein it’s at Costco.

It’s will be nice to have cart tires and batteries. I am on the fence about auto tires, which will need within a year.

We originally were Costco business membership, which changed to executive. Early entry is well worthwhile for us. Most of our wine comes direct, but every once in a while there will be nickle nickle or Bordeaux, for less. The appliances are definitely worthwhile.

Everyday stuff comes to our front door, so I don’t shop in store often, but in the bubble is definitely a plus.
We have the luxury of tons of storage at this house, so no worries on that issue. They did have bargains for pool stuff, so that worked out well. Their high end facial products are great prices

I don't buy the stuff.
You know what coke (the drink) does to rust on metal?

We have bought their prime steaks at our Atlanta Costco and they’re the best!!

Costco healthy foods.

I cannot have any preservatives, and I found out that none of the costco meats have preservatives. Also, all of the Kirkland brand products have no preservatives. Also Sam's club meats and Members Mark products have no preservatives. I hope this helps some.

Thank you! I did not understand that comment about Costco hires. No matter which Costco we have been to (NY, NJ, FL) the employees have been great.

So you're the reason when my favorite shopping items are not available! :sing:

For coffee I just get the Folgers. The extra large "cans" are about $17 while the smaller "cans" in the grocery store are $23!

Native Californian here, and I’ve always said soda or soft drink. Not once in three years here has any server ever asked me anything except “what would you like to drink”. Hubby is from MI so I’m familiar with pop from visiting his family there.

Today was my first time ever in a Costco. I bought four thick prime fillets, two bottles of Kirkland wine and two jars of Victoria Organic Marinara sauce. (With a $4 instant coupon). It's quite a shopping experience. I knew the store would be crowded but I did okay.

The #1 source for independent Costco Wine Reviews | CostcoWineBlog.com Is a good resource for finding Kirkland wines.. I’ve found their reviews pretty reliable
