Default What's The Difference Between A "Contributor" And A "Full Member"?

I see that every participant here is identified as a "Full Member" or "Participant", some with multiple numbers of stars by their name. What's that all about? Does it have to do with subscription to TheVillages.net? I haven't subscribed to that service/ISP because I have Comcast broadband as my ISP and I don't really want a new/additional ...@TheVillages.net e-mail address. Is there something I'm missing by not subscribing to TheVillages.net?

We have nothing at all to do anything Villages dot anything. I'm not sure myself, but I think it has to do with the number of times a person posts here. I'll check with Darrel and LaMonster. They are the guys who think this stuff up. Talk of The Villages is in no way connected to the developer or any of its holdings.

It does seem to relate to number of posts.... a star for every 50???

Kahuna...if you have Comcast ISP, you can get a free villages.net account to do online golf tee time reservations. I don't believe you have to create an email account.

I believe you start as a Contributor with one star, your a member after 50 posts and get another star, next you are a Full member after 100 posts and get another star, after that I'm not sure when more stars are added.

Kahuna - you get a mail account at the Villages.net so you can get a response to your Golf request if it gets accommodated. You don't need to add it to your accounts if you use Outlook. You can always just sign-in to the golf system and check the time.

But your sign-in is your villages e-mail account.
