Or as noted above the garbage men themselves threw the wheel barrow filled with trash into the garbage truck. That’s what they do. Either way, time for a new one.

If someone was driving around, and saw it, wouldn't they dump what was in it, out, before loading it? I doubt the garbage people would clean up the mess the driving around people left..... so I'm going with the driving around people knew it wasn't a freebee, the garbage men took it. Sherlock Holmes

I live at 509 Del Mar, so whoever took my black wheel barrel, please return it!! It was obvious it was not garbage because it was full of the debris waiting for the garbage men to empty it on GARBAGE DAY!!! If it was free, I would have put it out on any day besides garbage day! You know who you are so please return it and clear your conscience, thank you!

Most likely your garbage men took it away, assuming it was also garbage. Hauling the garbage out to the driveway in the wheelbarrow is one thing, but to leave the wheelbarrow there....just saying if I was the garbage man I'd assume it (the wheel barrow) was meant to go also. Doubt you'll get it back.

Thanks. That's interesting to know. We live in another part of Florida now and we have to set our garbage cans out the morning of trash pick up. If we try to set them out the night before the bears get into them. You wake up to trash strewn all over the street.

I had never heard of garbage men taking the entire trashcan - that is good to know!

I have heard the comment about trash cans as well but our neighbor has one that the trash guys empty and leave. Not sure if he has s discussion with the trash guys or how he manages to keep it...

Clear their what? I grew up in an environment where T.O.B. was an income or at lease supplemental income. (Top of Barrel) one man's trash is another man's treasure. In TV garbage pickers usually not villagers but outsiders looking for goods for repair and resale.

Why oh why would you put a good wheel barrel in with the trash? My guess is, if it was mixed in with the trash it was taken as trash.

Wow! And I bet you think you are not racist, huh? Poor choice of words! I don't even feel sorry for you and all the 'stuff' that got taken.

I saw where a neighbor had trimmed all of their shrubbery, palm trees, and etc. and piled it up beside the road for the trash men. They loaded it by hand into the truck, then took a shovel and a broom and swept it the remnants.
I was flabbergasted! Maybe he tips them?

Trash cans are not allowed inTV because as you see in other communities, cans can stay on curbs for several days.

Right, they can’t get through the gates.

When you are only allowed to put out trash bags then yes anything else is considered trash. Also yard waste etc goes into paper landscape bags.

My wife has a habit of leaving bags of stuff she wants to keep, and yes, you guess
it, right next the our garbage can in the garage.

"Honey, did you see the bag of flowers I bought and left here?"

Safe to say this is the most mileage a wheelbarrow has ever had.

They sure deserve a tip for going above and beyond
