I think those who are just itching to have packed rallies/parties without masks, should be allowed to do so...starting immediately.

And the party should last 14 days, another way to thin the herd.

it will certainly be grand when we can all get together with our friends in the various clubs that we belong to...
until then....we all had lives before we came here...so live your life

so, who knows...certainly no one on this forum knows anything that is cast in concrete....we just need to suck it up and wait awhile longer

look at it this way...we'll be able to say to the 'new bees' ...'well before the pandemic life in TV as like xyz...' (if they will actually care to listen)

Here is a letter that all club leaders have received from the rec department.
Quote:
Hello:
Thank you for returning your resident lifestyle volunteer group intention forms. We will now begin
working on best practices to manage the resident lifestyle volunteer groups in this new norm.
Group meetings will not be the same as prior to COVID-19. Your currently scheduled meeting days,
times and room capacity will be modified to allow for social distancing, ample time to enter and exit
facilities, clean rooms and set-up for the next club/activity. Equipment and supplies will also be limited
to protect you and your participants.
The return of resident lifestyle groups will begin in phases in a slow organized manner. Cards and Board
Games because of high touch opportunities and social clubs with large participation will be phased in at
a later date with restrictive guidelines.
RLVG leaders will meet, in advance of their first meeting, with staff to review new room set-ups and
expectations. We appreciate your cooperation, understanding and patience as we work in partnership
to navigate and learn new and safer ways to enjoy the lifestyle opportunities here in The Villages.
If you have additional questions, please email RecreationDepartment@districtgov.org your information
and we’ll be happy to respond via email or telephone.
Important changes and announcement will continue to be published in The Villages Recreation &
Parks News, posted on Village Community Development Districts as well as sent out in our e-Notifications.
