I am looking to buy plantation shutters. What is the best kind to buy wood or vinyl?

Don't bother going to anyone else but 48 Hour Blinds....Rick is the best. I had a few estimates, he was best and they were installed last week. They are lovely! He will explain that wood is best and why. 352-330-7310

Wood is not the best product for shutters in Fl, I have been in the design and color business for over 25 years and have not sold a many wood shutters. Poly is the best as the sun will not warp them and they are easy to clean. Moving in two weeks and I will be getting poly shutters for the new house. Let me know if you need help!
