Yes, most mail stations have coin machines, 50 cents for the Monday to Saturday paper, and one dollar on Sunday. You can also buy the paper at the drugstores and grocery stores.

Are you sure that this is The Villages Daily Sun's current price? Seems to me that the current weekday price is at newspaper sellers is $1.00 and the Sunday price is $1.25 as printed on the front page. The yearly subscription to each edition is $88.
That price for example compares to Boston Globe weekday price of $3.00 and the Sunday price is $6.00. They offer a senior rate for weekday and Sunday for $21.80 per week or about $1,133 per year.
For those critical of content, you must first recognize that all daily newspapers are offering old news compared to what is offered on line for free.
So what you are getting is local news, advertisements, coupons, garage sales, homes sales/rentals, auto sales, crosswords, death notices, SODUKO, and opinions.
Some would criticize the Daily Sun as compared to the Boston Globe due to its slant towards The Villages and lack of detailed coverage of some world events. But the choice is theirs At the same time, are we that needy for all of the local news from any Town ,USA at a price of over $1,133 per year?
