Speaking of treats. A wonderful person brought us some Lindor chocolates as a Christmas surprise. I had never tasted them. Oh...my are they dee-lish-a-mus.

Now I have another addiction.

I got the small fruit cake from Publix. Too gooey. Almost no cake filling.

I do remember the Claxton individual servings. They were really good!!

Many years ago when I was in the Civitan Club we sold them as fundraisers. You might check with local civic groups.

Heard they were using it as the foundation on the new homes built in the Village of Fernandina. In Lexington ,we use it for speed bumps, door stops, and getting our cars off the ground when we change a tire.

I just bought Claxton fruit at Publix. It is one the top shelf at the location where the ingrediants are featured for homemade fruitcake.

Sam's Club carries Claxton Fruitcakes.

They usually offer them from Thanksgiving on.

We got ours there this year.
