I saw mom, dad and the two kids just this afternoon, immediately west of the cart path and the tunnel. They were feeding between the fence and the grasses. All were looking good, strong and healthy. Actually, the kids are now teenagers. MAN have they grown!

Why do hearing things like this make me so happy anymore? They are such beautiful creatures and they bond for life. Their chicks are adorable. I often muse why they located near Hospice. And I always come up with the same answer.

Just saw all 4 of them between hospice and the tunnel, today.

Knowing they are alive and well makes my day. My sister told me the alligator she saw was huge and close to the cart path. She was riding her bike early one morning when she passéd a runner who shouted alligator, alligator and sure enough there he was.
