Starts just before south bound or after the 466 tunnel north bound

It could be Buena Vista Blvd in the Sumter Landing area, near Stillwater Trail that you are looking for.

That's my vote, especially in the spring when all the azalea are blooming.

Another area I discovered yesterday is Woodridge, behind Walmart, before you get to the driving range. Gorgeous old oaks towering over the road.

Not grumpy at all. Just wish people would read the previous 24 posts about where this stretch of MMP is located.

It could be beside Saddlebrook :1rotfl:

You could always just stop reading! Why continue on and aggravate yourself. 😡You know the definition of insanity???

Drammy 06-08-2021 08:17 AM

This stretch is along side of the saddlebrook executive golf course..

Sure is a beautiful area. We'll have to venture up towards Saddlebrook and see the area being discussed.

Could be after the tunnel at Lake Sumter when you go to the right toward Lake Minoa rec center , big oaks ,plantings very pretty . But you are probably right about the Saddlebrook trail ,love it.

Covered golf cart trail

[QUOTE=rustyp;1955940]A new record ! The first five responses agree. This is the spot for sure. It is a MMP north of 466 correct ?

Cross under highway 466 at Laurel Manor rec center and when you come up from the tunnel you will be on that part of the golf cart trail.

Thanks. The last sentence - it was sarcasm. I knew exactly where it was. I also knew exactly where this thread was going after five correct responses in a row with no disagreement. "A new TOTV record". Still plenty of time left in this thread for controversy. Great entertainment.

We came across a stretch of golf cart path (maybe 200 yards or so) that was completely covered by trees overhead, almost like a trellis. it seems like it was maybe somewhere between 466A and 466. Not sure if it was Morse or Buena Vista. When my wife and I saw this stretch we both said, "Oh my gosh this place is beautiful!" (meaning all of The Villages). It COULD be north of 466. Because it was our first visit we didn't know the area at all back then.

Yesterday was our 5th time out on a long trip where we also hoped to maybe stumble upon that area again-- with no luck. Does this beautiful stretch of golf cart path sound familiar to anyone? We would love to find it again!

Looks like most people gave you the location, between Laurel Manor and Saddlebrook. It reminds us of Tunnel of the Trees in Kauai Hawaii! Plus, it's about 10-15 degrees cooler in the summer!! Welcome and enjoy your life in the Villages!

So it's true about the villages being a "lifestyle" community? Always thought it was a myth. I must get a luffah.

Thanks for your concern about my mental health status. But, like another poster alluded to, it is great entertainment!
