Agree.......Not everyone play out their life events on ToTV with drama. I use to be surprised when someone takes a break from ToTV and post a dramatic post announcing the departure/break. Some want the exit attention, some don't.

I hope he reads all the posts and thinks to himself that maybe we were right...friends do help you live longer and happier.

Why would you go to the trouble to look up all that information (time, date, etc.) Why would youy even notice? You had no interaction with her? She could be away over a holiday week, you know. Same as VPL.

Gracie, think about it. If you go to the library... you don't know what he looks like. You'd have to ask the people at the desk, and they are going to think you're strange, because you're asking about someone whom you haven't a clue what he looks like and don't know his name. Maybe they don't understand forums. It might not look like stalking, but it could look just plain nosy!

He has neighbors. He has a lady friend. If he's missing, someone will report it. He's just on vacation or recovering from something, and we should respect his privacy. JMO

He doesn't have a cat because when I suggested he get a cat to resolve his lizard problem, he made it clear he isn't a cat person. Don't know about a dog.

My dog Beau certainly solves some of our lizard problems. Also that of Doggie Doo Run Run, Sumter Landing, and various postal centers as well.

Thinking about this unless he is in a very strange location in the Villages and/or has only snow birds as neighbors, the people who live around him would notice if something were wrong especially the people at the mail center, newspaper deliverers, lawn people, etc. And Neighborhood Watch too.

It is us TOTV addicts that people start talking about as to where they are. Villages PL is quite a regular. It is as if Norm did not show up at Cheers; so Cliff, Sam, Carla, and Woody start to worry. If you are an occasional drinker at Cheers then Coach might notice or maybe Diane, but Norm would probably be too busy drinking and visiting.
