Yes, I have been to Keene. As you know it is considered a small town with a little over 22 thousand people. My comment was intended to convey that since you left, the town is even smaller, and the smiley face was to indicate that the comment was made with good nature.

Re: Where are you from?

I am from the Lehigh Valley in Pennsylvania, about fifty miles north of Philadelphia and fifty miles south of the Poconos. The Delaware River and New Jersey is only about ten miles to the east. My wife is a native of the Philadelphia area (Darby, Broomall in Delaware County). We have just bought in the Villages, spent about a week there so far and are looking forward to retirement next year. For now, we will spend the summer in the villages and return next year after the holidays.

WHO DOESN'T LOVE THE VILLAGES !!! We are from Michigan. Grew up in the suburbs of Detroit (Troy). Spent 2 1/2 years in the thumb in Harbor Beach then went to Grand Rapids for 8 years before moving to the Villages in 2000. Michigan is a beautiful place but I love it here !! ;D

Re: Where are you from?

:) We're from Alameda, California. Just across the Bay bridge from San Francisco. My hubbie and I married in 0
3 on the beach in Maui. We decided to start a new life here. No more 2-3 hour commute to work. No more road rage. No more San Francisco politics. We love it and have met many wonderful people. My adult kids thought we must have a screw loose to leave Calif. They changed their minds when they came to visit.
I work at the hospital and am not too happy there. TVRH is just about the only thing I'm not thrilled about here in Florida.
I was born in Indiana and spent every summer in Bloomington where my Mom was raised and went to IU. :welcome:Hello to the lady from Bloomington. I spent many summers roaming through the hills and playing in the creeks. I worked in the cafeteria of the dental school during my 17th summer. My best girlfriend and I thought we would find a dreamy dentist like Mark Spitz.... we washed lots of dishes instead.
