Grew up in Springfield, IL, went to school at the U of I in Champaign-Urbana and have lived in Antioch, IL for 35+ years. Also have a home in TV. Best of both worlds! :)

Geno & Ann here. Looks like lots of folks in TV from the east coast. Hey darbyduff - we're from the other side of the fine state of Minnesota. We're near the headwaters of the Mississippi in Park Rapids. I know there are several Park Rapidians (is that a word? :read:?) that winter in TV. Any of you on TOTV? We'll be there in 6 days and we'll be staying full-time! :hot: :hot: :hot: :2excited:

thanks for reply Chuckinca, doesnt seem to be too many from the CITY OF CHICAGO! I grew up on northwest side "Wicker Park". Common Chicaggoans , check out the Villages, you'll love it! :bigthumbsup:

Hello-
Barbara and I grew up in Ann Arbor, Michigan and now live in Dexter, which is 10miles NW of AA. We are snowbirds, and have been since 2001. We have a courtyard Villa in Palo Alto, and love it. The Villages is better than the video. We bought after 2 years of renting just to be sure. We will return there near the end of October, depending on the weather. It sure is nice in Michigan right now, but when the days get shorter, the leaves are off the trees and it gets "gray", we are out of here. Life is good. Hope to meet you all on one of the golf courses or squares for happy hour.

Nonie, My husband and I were both born in Chicago. Later both of our families moved northwest to Cary. I returned to Chicago for my nursing education at Passavant Hospital/Northwestern University. Husband graduated from Univ of Illinois Champaign.

Chuck, My husband went to "Navy Pier" first 2 years before transferring to Champaign. That was 58-60. He took the "Northwestern" train downtown and then the bus to school.
