We are retired, what is the rush?

Wow! I posted a serious question about parking at the new Health and Rehab Center being built at Mulberry. How is it that you TOTV people are able to turn it into an issue about Publix and ACE Hardware that has absolutely nothing to do with the original post. If you don't understand the question you would be better to not respond rather than change the topic to something you'd rather discuss. Start a new thread! Frankly, I really don't care about Grocery Stores to the South, or more ACE Hardware Stores or the new Sweetbay. I'm simply looking for an answer to the question I raised. Now for your information, some of you. No, I'm not a candidate for the new building as I don't even know what it's purpose is. Also, no, it's not near Lopez unless you idea of near Lopez is Mulberry Plaza. A visit to Google Maps would help you in resolving this problem.

The place hasn't opened yet, and you say there is a parking problem. Have you tried to park at O'Bradys and couldn't? Whats the beef?

This is a standalone building that should provide parking for users, visitors, and staff. If you have bothered to go down and look at the construction you would see that there is no parking available for any of the above. Why should the businesses in Mulberry Grove give up any of their parking for this business?

And yes, there are times when Beef O'Brady's is busy and I don't want to have to walk an extra distance because the new Health and Rehab Center did not provide parking for their customers.

However they do seem to have room for parking.

It's really too bad, what we really need down here in the south is another grocery store.

I think the building on 466A is going to be an assisted living facility. Do you think it will have rehab and health club, too?

Bravo! Someone who not only read the original post but also understands it. Wish there were more of you out there who could do the same.

Wildwood Ace Hardware

I think the Ace Hardware in Wildwood is great. Much larger than the Ace stores in the Villages. People in store are extremely helpful. I think prices are a little bit less than the ones in TV. I bought my last TV at the the combination Radio Shack and TV store next to the Ace Hardware at a very competitive price. They delivered and set up TV at no charge. I have purchased a bed at the Babcock store in the same shopping center. As TV expands towards Wildwood on the east side, I believe Wildwood stores will be used more often by TV people. Brownwood and the new Villages shopping center next to Brownwood are in the city limits of Wildwood.

If you notice all of the construction workers are parking on the Bruster's property. When the broker brought a prospective buyer to see the property last week, there was no where for them to park on this privately owned property.
