These then starting showing up on most parts of the body especially at the joints of hands, fingers, elbows, heels, knees front and back, ankles, etc. Went to dermatologist. They took biopsy and said it was most likely reaction the vaccine. Erica at Dr Tran had cell phone pictures of examples. We had taken pictures. They looked much the same. She recommended several topicals to put on. Now about week gone by and most of the places seem to have cleared but some are still quite itchy.
The verdict was if the vaccine did that, then it is proof that it is working. We are still going to get out shot 2 when GMR calls for 2nd appointment.
Sorry to hear about your itchy patches reaction to the Moderna vaccine.

Didn't you get your appointments for your second shots at the time you made your appointments for your first shots with GMR? Just wondering why you are expecting GMR to call you for your second shot appointments?

When I made the appointment with GMR for my first shot back on Jan 13, I was automatically given the appointment for my second shot exactly 28 days later (Feb. 10) at the same time of day. I'm going to the site on 466 on Feb 10 for my second shot. I already have the bar code saved on my iPhone for that appointment. That is UNLESS I hear from GMR before then and my appointment date is changed.

Maybe so, but that 1% is a killer!

Glad to hear that. The site runs like a well-oiled machine when they have vaccine.

Same here. Chills, fever, body aches, but back to normal after about 36 hours.

Where did you obtain this information? Please supply a link.

Received our Moderna first shots yesterday. No reaction so far. Received a date and time for our second shots next month.
Got our appointments with Pubix on line. An hour and a bit more drive to get it was just fine.

My wife and I had our second shots this Wednesday. We had mild pain at the injection site with the first shot but had a greater reaction with our second shot, which appears to be normal. I got tiredness, low grade fever and other flu like symptoms within 6 hours and stayed home and watched TV for a day and a half. That wasn’t pleasant but well worth it to now be resistant to COVID. My wife was OK first 24 hours and then it hit her and she retreated to bed. Same symptoms as I had just more delayed. The good news is that if you have a good immune system you actually may see more side effects. That is why younger people may get more side effects than older people from the vaccine. Normally our immune system becomes compromised as we age unless we do aggressive physical activities such as walking and bicycling. (I bicycle over 100 miles a week and my wife fast walks over 25 miles a week. We are both in our mid seventies.) Bottom line for us is we had some limited flu like side effects but we are so happy to have had our second shots and hopefully we are building a good immunity to COVID.

Had a slight headache and woke up feeling a little body ache and tired later in the day. Within 24 hours of receiving the second shot everything cleared up and I feel totally normal. Even the injection site is painless.

I know we don't see eye to eye much of the time but I would like to congratulate you and your wife on getting your vaccinations.

Had ZERO side effects with first one.

That being said, if this is (hopefully) as bad as it gets it is worth every second of the inconvenience !
This isnt any different than the annual flu shots. Some have a reaction and some dont. I have 7 friends so far who have completed both shots and only one had very mild flu symptoms for less than 24 hrs. No big deal.
