Actually there is one exception to the "if it's a duo don't bother"... The duo is called He said She said. Todd can shred guitar with the best on them, and Mernie knows how to sing

That guy is one great guitar player. His progression of chords is awesome.

Agree, Todd is a great guitar player and can rock with the best of them. The first couple times I saw them they were absolutely great, but recently not nearly as good. I suspect the folks running the entertainment have toned down their act to make it more in line with the typical town square event. The songs changed from the likes of Europa by Santana or an electric guitar solo of the National Anthem to Play that Funky Music White Boy? What a waste of talent!

Sorry to hear the changes. They opened one night with the electric guitar solo of the National Anthem (Jimi Hendrix version), and everybody stood amazed. Some for the first time hearing that version and some because it was so well done.

If I hear Play That Funky Music White Boy one more time I'm going to yell FREEBIRD!

I wish I knew, maybe someone can tell me. All I know is the band was white guys, the singer was a black guy. They played oldies. I saw them last year at brownwood.

You must be referring to Rocky and the Rollers

We saw Johnny Wild and the Delights at the Savannah Center. The show was....."Buddy, Roy and Hank". FABULOUS SHOW. They are all so talented, especially "Johnny". He changed costumes for each character.

I'm going to have to add Hooligans to my list; heard them tonight at LSL and they are a really good rock band.

I don't think that bands supply their set lists to the entertainment committee.

I do wish that they would ban, "Mustang Sally."

I'll second that ,they were terrific, especially if you are a parrothead.

Blue Stone Circle
Uncle Bobs Rock Shop
Rocky and the Rollers
Johnny Wild and the Delights
Cactus Jack and the Cadillacs
501 Blues Band
Second Slice
(American Martian without all the banter)

Our son would be here in a heartbeat for some great EDM as would our neighbor John! At the moment, our Favorite is Johnny Wild.
