Default Duke energy golf cart path

Looks like a little Christmas gift is in order for us. A legal, safe, crowded path coming soon. The Article I read mentioned Stone Crest. I don't know why if they have no way to get in our gate but that not our concern. We just want to go to Walmart legally and safely once in a while. I'm glad it looks like it going to work out for the people in The Villages. They already put a paved road in where you go from the new Wawa site to Lowes. We are halfway there. All the old Threads on this issue are closed. They are funny when you look at the resolution VS what people said would happen.

The wife and I were also happy to see this. I believe it was Marion County parks and recreation took it over. We wonder if the same individuals will be allowed to work on it and take collections,or if they do the maintenance? Looks a lot different than the dirt path it once was.

What do you mean by when you say the path will be crowded?

I'm certain when people see the condition of the new roadway versus what was there then there should be more people using it.

Remember the path that you had to ride in that was much like I would imagine being like the surface of the moon? Forget it, it is a beautiful flat, curbed, asphalt street behind the carpet store and on the way to Lowes just past the blank property with improvements already done and waiting for another WaWa. This property is directly across from Dunkin Donuts, I'm going to miss them.

Last I heard. The ground is totally prepared to go. We'll see. They were going fast with the building and have stopped for several weeks.

Sounds like something nice is happening for you Historic section people, Nucky. I talk to a woman from Stone Crest almost every week. I will ask her the next time I see her if I remember. We usually talk about other stuff.

Have met several Stone Crest people at Spanish Springs who admit that some Villages friend gave them a gate pass!

People ask frequently if they can buzz through with you when it's your turn to go. Not even a remote chance. You can tell when its a Stone Crester, they look bored and their knuckles are dragging on the ground. Calm down, just kidding, sort of.

Since when does a gate pass matter to get into SS? Anyone can go through any gate around here. Just press the red button or smile at the guard or simply park in the shopping center and walk 2 blocks. . Besides the businesses at any of the squares want and need the outside business. There are no secure entries.

EdFNJ - I don't believe that the gate for this path on the historic side is equipped with the infamous 'red button' for ingress/egress.

But if I am not correct, I am sure someone will come along with more accurate info!
