Sent pics to warranty yesterday but no replies yet. Any ideas? This is a new courtyard villa in Phillips Villas.

Yeah the end is crushed. I’m tempted to just try to pull it up but I’d like to know if it has any purpose first. Plus depending on how long it is, the lawn may have to be reseeded.

Call warranty and just ask them. They should know what it is. They are very savvy and usually very helpful.

I looked in search, above and came up with this. It could be a property marker?

Technically property markers are metal so they can be easily found by metal detectors

Most likely just scrap left behind, try pulling in out. Looks like you had some landscape work done, if they moved a sprinkler head they may have left something behind. The irrigation piping is purple when your home is built, but a landscaper may have used white and left a little behind that finally worked it's way out.

Called warranty office back today and the woman checked with someone and replied that I should just pull it out. Unfortunately it was too long to pull it out. I cut it at a couple of feet and just replaced the sod on top. Whatever the hell it was for, the remainder of the pipe will be there for a very long time. Thanks for the replies from this great forum.

Did you turn the sprinkler system on to see if water came out of it?
