PVC piping is never used for survey or property markers.
I doubt very much that Warranty would know what that piece of white PVC is, just by looking at a small photo.

I wouldn't have been be so quick to cut it or pull it out without checking with your builder or the person who did your sprinkler system.
It was obviously there for a reason, even if the purpose is no longer valid.

It was sticking out of the grass with the end crushed. Now it’s inder the grass with the end crushed. I can always dig it up if need be.

In the pictures, the curbing and maybe the concrete do not look like they were original from the building of the house.

I suspect that the pvc white pipe was used to by-pass sprinklers that were covered by one or the other after either the curbing or concrete were installed.

In fact, if the curbing and concrete were done at different times, then the white pipe could have been a sprinkler fix for the first job that was then re-by-passed during the second job.

Concrete and curbing guys would use pvc rather than the purple pipe that sprinkler guys use.

Just an possibility.

The drip lines are usually poly (black or what ever they are installing now). the pop up sprinkler lines are sch 40 PVC which are white 1/2 inch pipe with Main line feed of 1 inch PVC (at lease in my yard).

I don't know how old you house is or if you had any irrigation work done. If you don't have massive water leak when you turn you irrigation system it was junk pipe that someone left in the ground as stated by wiotte.

I uncover crap all the time when digging in my yard. IMO they take all the junk trash and bury it under your yard from you house left overs after the build. I can explain how all the junk I find when digging?

You would be surprised what mess you find when working irrigation system and crap under ground.
