No, I haven't bought any CD's in years. I threw away or sold 4,000 albums five years ago when I moved to Florida. I still have about 500 CD's in the garage, but I have XM/Sirius Radio in my car, so that is what I listen to whenver I'm driving. If I'm in the house I'm watching on TV. I have about 300 concert DVD's that I started collecting about ten years ago, but now with smart TV and Youtube, I don't really have to buy anything anymore, it's all on Youtube.

The last Vanilla Fudge album I bought was about 2002, I remember they covered Rod Stewart Do You Think I'm Sexy and a Backstreet Boys song or two, they were both great because they take the songs and make them their own. I love when they do covers, Vanilla Fudge was the first concert I ever went to, it was in St. Petersburg in 1968.

Hey, bluzzman21,

I have no idea who Vanilla Fudge is (are?) but Leslie West -- YES! Had not thought about Leslie West for a long time -- though I just about wore out Mountain on vinyl, especially "Mississippi Queen." a very long time ago.......(sigh)

Anyway, I just wanted to thank you for helping me with my Christmas shopping. I just ordered 2 CDs for Mr. Boomer's stocking.

PS: On a different note -- I really like the previously mentioned idea for a piano bar in TV. I would keep the tip-jar full because I would never run out of requests.

I have Tinnitus and Hearing Loss. I just started a new wellness meeting to educate people with tinnitus how to manage and live with it. Anything over 85 decibels destroys your hearing over time and then one morning you wake up with ringing so loud you cant stand it. Wear hearing protection at all these events. Everything in The Villages is loud.....

Your welcome, there is still alot of the bands and players from back in the day out there trying to still survive on making it, in May I went to see Y & T in St. Pete omg they put on a 3 hour show and it was the best I have ever seen and that was after a killer set from Winger. Also I believe a piano bar would be great but they probaly wouldnt want to play any rock just oldies.
