Default WiFi in the Rec Centers

I don't know if this is me or the way the WiFi is set up in the Fenney rec. center but every time I go there I have to re-enter my ID and password. This is not the norm in most environments. Once you put in your ID & password, it is automatically remembered and entered so you are automatically logged into the WiFi resource.

What are you seeing in your rec center?

I think all the rec centers require the user name and password every time. I have mine stored in my Android phone, so it pops up when I try to connect.

Yes, that's the behavior I see as well...

It is designed that way to limit use to Villagers.

I don't see what difference it makes.

Make sure your phone is protected--a person I know had his phone hacked, they got access to accounts & wiped out his bank account--no public wifi ever

It is a bit of a pain to manualy log on each time. But, imagine if 200 phones auto-connected each time an event was starting in one of the rooms.

If the WiFi was designed properly, then no problem at all.
