I would call the company that does your trash pick up. There is more than one company that picks up trash in the villages. Perhaps, too late but usually the people you buy a mattress and box spring from pick up and dispose of the old one.

Here is the official information. I think it applies to most of The Villages, but I'm not sure about the historic area. I once scheduled a mattress pickup, and put it out several days before the scheduled date and they picked it up early with no charge.

A charge of $10.00 will be added to your monthly utility bill for this service in the NSCUDD service area. Bulk pickups must be canceled at least 24 hours in advance of the scheduled collection date or the charge will apply.
