Winn Dixie off of 466A

All in all I prefer WD. Oh! And their prices are lower overall. Imagine that. |
It's definitely nice to have a choice. And no matter where I live, I always seem to like the produce better in one store over the other, perhaps meats in the other, and just try to shop the sales. I have found both the Publix in Traverse and Winn Dixie in Pinellas to be very clean.

We do most of our shopping at Winn-Dixie. We find it to be a lovely place to shop. Clean, friendly, and well-stocked. |
Why do we like W/D....it's just down the street and a golf cart ride away!

Agree with you

I suspected there was something fishy going on. Besides, my finger was getting sore. |

When I was a kid I worked in a fruit and vegetable store so I am really picky. Not all fruits and veggies are in season all year, so I frequently end up substituting something that is in season. I agree with your comment but believe it is due more to seasonal fluctuations than the specific grocery chain. |
Is Publix employee owned? Maybe the OP is an "owner" just trying to promote their business. You have to take all internet reviews, good or bad, with a few grains of salt. Many have a horse in the race.
|
Yes, Publix is employee owned. They dominate the grocery business in Florida. The Publix locations in TV are filled to capacity and beyond with or without threads from the OP bashing WD.
|
Best response yet. Neither will I!
|
WD will self destruct just like their store in Wildwood--
|
Yes, the last post is the best!!! Don't rise to the bait!
