Nothing in today's Daily Sun.... a little surprising, but, we'll give it another day. As someone noted earlier, if it was a suicide, it would not get the same "news" coverage.

And, if it were more sinister the police report may not yet be available to the press. Something like an "ongoing investigation". Our Sun doesn't seem to want to send their reporters out to interview neighbors in a situation like this. There weren't any comments from neighbors in the paper when that woman shot her husband. Just that it happened.

I guess we will hear in time.

Nothing on the TV stations either. Anything in the commercial or the Sentinel?

This morning's Daily Commercial says an unidentified woman was found dead on the third hole of a golf course in The Villages. Lady Lake police call it a suicide, saying "there's nothing suspicious".

Thanks for the link, memason. That's a sad story. Did not see anything in today's Villages Daily Sun about the person killed on the railroad tracks in the pick-up yesterday morning.

Prayers for this poor woman and all who know and love her, as well as the woman who lost her life in an auto/train accident, are offered.

Sad for the woman and those that stumbled upon her.

Not sure if this was a woman in the pick-up truck on the train tracks. The source I got just said "driver".

It was the wife of a Sumter County deputy sheriff....train/auto crash in Bushnell.

Default So which is it?

Looks like there are two different incidents here:

Daily Commercial -
Body found on golf course

Sumter train crash: Sumter deputy's wife killed in train crash - Orlando Sentinel

Both are very tragic and sad . . . . . .

What difference does it make if she was a villager or not. she was a human being and that is all that counts.
