Well, you're comparing to different wave lengths, FM & AM. FM to me is always better to listen to!

Coming back from Orlando yesterday afternoon, pulled in their signal strong at about the Service plaza and carried it all the way up 301 to 42 and home n the Village of Chatham. Strange they are not mentioning the FM side in any of their identifying liners or slogans, it's still just AM 640.

Default Great

Thank you so much for posting this. The AM signal on my bike radio is pretty lousy.

The WVLG FM frequency of 102.7 is known as a translator, part of a FCC program to allow am stations to have an FM presence for better service. Primarily this was done because many am stations fade into the ether at night and reception is difficult. Many cities now have some of their am stations on FM also. The "official" name for WVLG FM is actually W274BR, kinda goofy. The actual owner of the station is the Central Florida Educational Foundation in Alatamonte Springs so TV is probably leasing it.
For those who are interested here is the coverage.

I guess I’m just trying to figure out why you would want to listen to this radio station through any source?
