I had the ATT box and liked it until I signed up for HULU live.
HULU worked fine but the Live didn't work because the ATT box didn't have a fixed IP address.
Maybe that issue has been resolved.

I have Xfinity also while I test this out. I have had it for 12 days and so far it works perfectly. I will cancel X in the near future. I have a large villages house with 4 TVs 2 IPADS, 2 cell phones , 3 Alexa’s , laptop, camera, and more. They all run perfectly at the same time.

No fiber, no coax. It’s a plug and play router which is nice looking. 35$ vs 99$ for X.

Could you please explain to me what this is and where I could get it? Thank you.

Do you know what is available in Virginia Trace?

Perfect timing for this. I just changed from Xfinity to Spectrum. If you go on line they can tell you if you have their service.

Check this out- I go into Xfinity and tell them I have a great deal from Spectrum, what can you do? The tech laughs and says nothing. Then I look at my most current statement showing I’m paying $60 a month for 300mbs internet and it’s going up to $81 next month. It was an easy decision for me. Now I have spectrum for $29 a month for two years, and get 500mbs for my internet service. Btw they have a special right now where I brought over my phone line ( from ATT - $54 a month) to spectrum - free cell service for a year and $29 per month when I start paying again next year. With more data etc. This all happened this week. The transfer was so simple. My sales rep helped me with the phone transfer - even came to my home. His name is: Lysander Jimenez and his phone is: 352-239-3538. He has been doing door to door calls in the citrus grove area. Like I said - Xfinity made it easy to say goodbye.

The best approach is to go to the the QuantumFiber, Spectrum, AT&T, Verizon, and T-Mobile websites and you can check whether their internet services are available at your address.

You need to negotiate with them. Rates have limited term. Annoying process. Can try Spectrum. Should be a promotional new sign up rate

It was just in the news that Spectrum is raising rates again, for the second time within 6 months.

Same with us. Wouldn't negotiate at all.

I get this rate because i have 2 services with them. There cell coverage runs off of verizon network and we never have a problem. It costs $60 for 2 lines unlimited data. Can't really do better than $106/month for phone and internet.

I can. I have Quantum Fiber internet for $45.00 a month & I use Google FI for the mobile phone, it was $25.36 for January (it varies a very little from month to month).

QuantumFiber for internet at $30 per month including all fees and taxes and Mint Mobile for cell phones at $17 per month including all fees and taxes. Total of $64 per month for internet and 2 cellphones.

Sign up with Spectrum, right now new customers can get 500 Mbps for 29.99/month, price is good for 2 years. Its only available from the local door to door sales reps in the Villages. I signed up with Lysander Jimenez, his number is 352-239-3538. He has tons of great reviews on Nextdoor neighbor app as well. Xfinity stole enough money from me.

I'm outside of the Villages, got CenturyLink dsl. I hear nightmares about their service. But I got $50 a month for life. Never any different, I lose it if I change one thing. Something tells me the day will come when they find a way to dump everyone that has that $50/month rate. Watch it 'break' and the equipment is no longer available for the speed I have now. No spectrum is not available here.

I wouldn't be too concerned about having your $50 per month service dumped. I have had broadband internet access for 25 years. It started out as DSL and for the last 15 years it has been fiber to the house. Up until about a year ago, the price was always about $45 per month. In the last year, the price has dropped to $30 per month. Internet access keeps getting cheaper as the bandwidths increase. $45 25 years ago is about $90 today and that provided 1.2 megabits per second. $30 today provides 200 megabits per second.

Stop scamming people.

Everyone who is thinking of calling this Jimenez person's phone number - don't do it. This is spam, and Spectrum doesn't go door to door.

Brighthouse 01-12-2024 11:29 PM

You obviously must be a sad lonely person. Lysander has tons of great reviews on Talk of the Villages and Nextdoor Neighborhood apps. Obviously you must not know anything about Spectrum, as they have had door to door reps for over 20 years. Just because you are upset over whatever happens in your life does not mean you have to slam someone making a living. Good luck with your life.

By the way, when I spoke to Lysander, he has helped over 400+ villagers in the villages last year alone. So much for scamming. Get your facts straight before you start posting lies @OrangeBlossomBaby
