Default Yard drainage problem

Can anyone recommend a company, landscape or other that can install some type of drainage system for excess water in your yard? Thanks

If this is a new house, call home warranty first they might take care of the problem. Since i have not needed this type of service i will let others comments on suitable companies if home warranty does not help.

We have lived in the house six years, Shortly after moving in we notified home warranty but was told that Sloans landscaping had already installed French drain systems between the homes in the neighborhood ( which they did). As time has passed it’s gotten worse!

Sloans should have checked to verify drain was installed/functioned correctly.

How can I locate yard drains that previous owner covered with either mulch or concrete? I border Hacienda golf course & water pools in corner by villa wall

It has gotten worse? The first question is why? What has changed? Landscaping? A pool? Gutters and down spouts etc.

Our soil is sandy clay. In places there is a layer of clay, hard for water, rain, to get through, just a few feet below what you see.

Like most things it can be done right. It can be done cheap. It can be done wrong and still be expensive.

As I understand it, if you have a puddle that does not soak in in 24 hours, you have a problem that should be attended to.

If they are covered with cement, it doesn't matter, they are not working. If, under mulch, probably the same, they are not working. You could possibly find them. There is tons of buried stuff. Unconnected cable wires. In ground sprinklers. I found a jaw bone from ???
perhaps a dog or a wolf.
