While living in Manhattan and riding the subway to work I looked down and saw that I had on two different shoes on.:ohdear:

One day I left upstate NY to come to TV....

While working at MGM Casino, I had to follow a VERY strict dress code..including black or brown shoes. I threw my uniform into the car and didn't realize until I got there that I had forgotten my shoes. I had on a pair of gold wedge strappy sandals (you ladies will understand:) ). If I had to go home to change I would have received points (a bad thing) and no pay. I did, however, bring a pair of black trouser socks. I pulled the socks on over the sandals and worked all night without anyone noticing! What's that about necessity being the mother of invention???

[QUOTE=ajbrown;451432]I played golf today at Glenview and we must be near a full moon as the group had two issues.
[LIST=1][*]I showed up to check in, parked the cart in front of the pro shop and did the old 'pat the back pocket’ to check the wallet and all I felt was ***. No wallet, no ID.

Just curious...how'd you pay? IOU? Lucky Steve T was there he is a great guy!

Interesting! You posted this message at 4:30 in the morning and you stated you played golf today. My question is... do your golf balls glow in the dark? (Oh how I wanted to omit the word golf in my question) :1rotfl:

4:30 in the morning?

Sounds like you have some potential posts for this thread:
  • I forgot my glasses when I was reading TOTV....
  • I forgot to take my meds today before posting on ....

Skyguy, Please take this as kidding, Alan trying to be funny, I mean no malice :jester:

PS. My golf balls do not do much in the dark anymore

Yes, 4:30 in the AM. That's the time stamp on your post and no I didn't have any potential posts. But-but-but... I do appreciate a sense of humor and do take you're post as being funny. As for malice, isn't that what they used to served wine back in the Medieval period? {hic}

We had company the weekend of our town fair. We traveled to the fair in two cars because I wanted to leave a little earlier to get dinner started. I left and was home for about an hour before my husband and his brother and wife got home.

Another hour went by and it was waaaay toooo quiet in the house. I went and "KIDDINGLY" asked my husband "Are you sure you brought Michael home?"

He looked at me and said "I thought you brought him home!"

I screamed...almost fainted...they ran out the door. Back to the fair where they found Michael, happy as a clam, eating pizza, drinking pop (soda), riding the rides with the nice policeman. He knew we'd be back looking for him.

The funny thing is...the first thing I taught my kids was their name, address and phone number. Michael knew all the information and, I guess, he chose not to share it.

I have to ask him about that.....

We did something similar. Took 2 cars to neighbor's house for dinner. I left first and husband got home a few minutes later with son. No daughter. I thought you had her, no I thought you did. We drove back (about a mile) to find gutsy 3-yr-old trying to walk home in the dark. OOPS.
