Sandbridge is the only area of Va I've heard so far has called for a mandatory evacuation.

That's right. Tomorrow at noon. Looks like eveything is closing early tomorrow. High schools throughout Hampton Roads are opening Friday evening for emergency shelter. Just hope everyone uses common sense and heeds the warnings! BTW how is the weather in TV?

Oh, I didn't think of that. Please wait for me to get there. I'll hurry!

Kidding aside, I hope everyone in the path up the coast stays safe and dry and suffers no damage.

Mid 70's now with some wind and a few feeder bands here and there, but no problems here. Hope your daughter changes her mind and comes home. Only problem as you well know, is sometimes with the flooding she may not be able to get back to the beach. That's one reason when we lived in Kitty Hawk we didn't evacuate. Cat 1,2, or 3 didn't really bother us. Now if we had a Cat 4 I definately would have left. LOL

Pturner, I didn't think of ice cream, either, until njbchbum mentioned it. It makes sense to me! Hurry! :mmmm:
