Default Closed in Aug

We closed in August as well. I called asking about paying the bill and was told we would get our first bill in about 6 weeks.

If one buys a new house, does the amenity fee go up? I guess what I'm asking is are amenity fees set to individual neighborhoods, that is, they are higher in newer neighborhoods or are you locked in with your first home purchase in TV?

I believe the fee is set when a new neighborhood or district is established. After that, there is a limit to how much the fee can be increased annually. As a result, the fee can and will vary from place to place. I know all my neighbors pay the same, but we all bought when they opened our village. So, the rate in one village/district may be different from another one older or newer.

What I don't know is whether someone buying a resale will pay the same as the seller, or have it raised to the prevailing rate of new homes.

When you buy a resale, your amenity fee is set to the prevailing rate (of new homes) not what the previous owner paid or what you may have paid in a prior Villages home.
