Default Appliance change-out?

We would like to upgrade the fridge in our brand new home in Osceola Hills. TV won't take it back. Any experience or ideas?

Just list it for sale here on TOV classifieds... Or let your friends and neighbors know you have it for sale, so they can spread the word... Or put it in your garage for extra space for parties.

If I had an extra refrigerator I would put it in my garage. The one in the house is always full and when I have company I never have room for appetizers I have made or extra drinks.

We changed out all our kitchen appliances a year after we moved in, the builder grade appliance were ... Less than desirable ... to us so we put in all new Samsung appliances. The old ones we listed on Craig's List and sold them in less than a week. Not a whole lot of market for used appliance in TV unless someone is remodeling one of the older homes up at the north end. Would have kept the refrigerator in the garage as jnieman suggests but we already had a deep freeze out there.

If your house is new and you do not like the appliances AND you have not used them you can turn them back in to the supplier and upgrade. We did it with ours. Just call Home Warranty and ask who supplied them and call them. Choose what you want and they will bring you the new, take away the other new, and you $$$$ the difference.

Give Buy-Rite Furniture and Appliance in Ocala a call. We upgraded our kitchen and sold the relatively new appliances to them. Their number is 352-840-9767. We haggled a bit and they got a good deal but they came out and picked the stuff up and gave us cash. It was a very easy transaction.

We donated our 3 year old washer and dryer to a women's shelter. They could use them and we did not feel the need to put them on Craigslist or TOTV. They were happy and so were we. About to do the same with our dishwasher, also 3 years old.
