Default need help in re personal home furnishing shopper

in the process of purchasing/closing on a property in the villages! hooray! i need to furnish the home, or at least some of the home....other than calling southern lifestyles, is there a less expensive option (i haven't called them yet and this is purely an assumption)? Wanted to get feedback from others...

thanks,

sonja

Default Furnishings

Hi and congrats on the new home! There are lots of places that have used furniture (mostly from TV) that is in excellent condition. Check out Bargains and Treasures on 466 and there is another store on 441 that also sells used stuff. I do not remember the name of it but it is going towards Leesburg on the right side. Also check on here TOTV under Items for sale in TV. There are lots of GREAT buys! Good luck!

Try calling a professional home stager like this one below in the TV area. They do new home and move-in furnishing/decorating in addition to the usual home-selling staging, according to the home page.

Stagers are trained and accustomed to decorating/furnishing as cheaply as possible because sellers need to keep the costs low. They know how to find all kinds of new and used treasures, at bargain prices:

I just finished doing what you are about to do. Went to Furniture Direct and had a bad experience. Then I went to Southern Lifestyles. It was MUCH easier. Jeff was the sales person I used and in about 2 1/2 hours all was finished. I was very satisfied which is saying a lot. No pressure. Just very good advice. They do this every day, all day.

Is there a 'Rooms To Go' place in the area? Just a thought.

Adam Nussbaum at Southern Direct is a good option. He and his wife do a beautiful job. The only problem would be that all furniture has to come from Southern Direct. The other stuff comes from whatever store has the best price.

We bought all new furniture for our patio villa. Did some shopping around but ended up buying everything but lamps from Southern Lifestyles.....their pricing and service were great. Had some minor issues on a couple pieces but they fixed everything. Jennifer was very helpful.

Jennifer at Southern Lifestyle is wonderful. We used her and couldn't be happier.
