I still carry a scraper in my car.

'Cause 1) I might need it, 2) I'm too lazy to remove it.

My brother keeps asking me why it's still there. I tell him, "It works; when did you last see any ice on your windshield?"

Problem: we did see some last winter!

I wouldn't get rid of a generator. I'd bring it to Florida. You just never know when a tropical storm or hurricane might blow through.

Currently it's $0.104150 per KWH used plus $14.50 energy charge. There's also an energy adjustment charge...plus some taxes.

I have a spa that runs daily so my electric bill is a little higher than would be without a spa. The extra charges added about $28.75 to my bill this month. The additional charges vary from month to month.

Over the past year, adding up elec+gas and dividing by 12, the average monthly cost for us is about $150. We had some extreme heat last summer and extreme cold this winter, so, this average is higher than prior years (and rates are going up too). Each golf cart adds about $9/month to the elec bill.

Highest elec in summer $160; Highest gas bill in winter $148.

Non A/C months, elec is about $70; Non-heat months, gas is about $30

Electric for the year was right about $1,200; gas for the year approx $700

Hope this helps. Can't provide any insight on pool costs....

Also, all new homes are all electric with heat pumps...their numbers may be very different.
That is less than just my gas bill for North Central PA for the year. My new electric bill just came, $160. Sounds cheaper to be in FL.
