Just received our owners package, for cable they only include Clear Link Comcast letter. :read:

"The villages offers their own installation service......."

Nothing else about other choices.

Paul from Brighthouse is great to work with, and quick to schedule our install. As with all companies, there is occasional problems. We had our install yesterday and we are not getting all the digital channels that we should plus no Internet. :-( . Installer came back today and tried hard to fix it again. Hope to see a line engineer or someone to trouble shoot the problem, probably growing too fast for the area, or main box issues.

Update: the cable/ Internet is fixed, must have been something in their computer routing, as as of last night it all started working. I have to say, Brighthouse does have very good customer device and are fast to react to a problem.

I have directv and have for years. love it. new subscribers get $10 a month off the bill for a year by using a current subscriber acct # when signing up. Mine is 64716565. I like it because I can record multiple shows, get good channels and great service and rarely have service issues.

Without a question, get Brighthouse if it is available in your area. Paul Muniz made it seamless - explained the services and scheduled the installation - everything went very well.

We have ad Britehousesince October and are completely satisfied. We have cable, phone, and Internet wireless. There customer service is excellent!:pepper2:

Your info on the cable and internet is very helpful. If you could send me your spreadsheet it would certainly help me in my search. I am going to look into the Direct TV at Sam's.

We've been Xfinity Comcast customers since we closed on our home Feb 2012. I was excited to see the dark fiber ran to our home and I waited for the day I'd get the knock on the door. "we're here to light the fiber"

That day came last Wednesday. I'm having Century Link Prism Fiber service installed August 1st.

Comcast has nice products but are lacking in the High definition department. We only, exclusively watch HD programming. Comcast only offers 1 (one) HD premium channel for HBO, Showtime, Cinemax, etc. Prism fiber offers them all in HD, 5 or more each. I'm told they deliver HD content in 1080p. That's twice the resolution of Comcast and satellite TV.

We'll see how it goes. If it works out I'll return the Comcast boxes. If not, at least I'll know for sure...

Comcast has horrible customer service - but there isn't a lot of choice.

Yes, my Century Link Prism service was installed on Thursday. Install went great but I'll reserve judgment on the products for a week or so. Initial impressions are positive :-)
