I was with comcast for internet & cable, then "fired" comcast cable but kept the internet service for a time and then bundled with embarq/century link and saved a bunch of money.

I believe that comcast offers 2 speeds of internet. $59.95 may be the faster one.

You are correct. I did opt for the faster one and I can't recall the price of the slower one.
