Default Driveway painting

We are new to The Villages, our driveway is painted but has many chips in it and needs to be re-done. I have been looking at some posts which favor painting, pavers, sand paint, etc. We are looking for someone to re-paint the driveway as it seems the fancy designs seem to have a waiting time of months. We need someone soon, but at a reasonable price. Suggestions please.

OP, you should probably plan on having the original paint completely removed (sandblasting or grinding), while this is costly, you will get a better job. From recent experience, we had the lanai repainted to match what we were doing in the new birdcage. I specifically asked if the now paint could be applied over the existing paint and was told yes. Well he was correct, EXCEPT the original paint has started to fail, and of course the new paint is now flaking off. Not sure how we are going to fix this.............

I would recommend Custom Ram, again a wait, but well worth it. In a few years your driveway will need to be repainted, again. Wait a few months now and have a more permanent solution. We had our driveway done 6 years ago, 2020 it is going to be sandblasted and resealed for the first time.

Thank you, that makes perfect sense. I never thought of that. I will definitely keep it in mind.
