We bought a preowned home in Glenbrook about 10 years ago and most of neighbors were original owners who had been there for 10 years and were generally older than we were. For the first 5 or 6 years they were neighborly but didn't include us in their established neighborhood activities. Now that the neighborhood is 20 years old, the houses are naturally being turned over as resales because the original owners have aged. So I suspect that the areas north of 466 will become younger and younger as newly retired buyers start buying into those neighborhoods. And in 15+ years from now, we will be calling the areas south of 44 the "elderly" neighborhoods.
