We closed in August, but have not been there since before the closing. We will be leaving NJ in 2 days to spend the winter in TV and will still maintain a home in NJ. We bought from Southern Lifestyles 2 bedroom sets and they were delivered last week and set up for us. We dealt with Shane McCall at S.L. We did it all over their web site and by phone. A pleasant and painless experience. We should be there by Sunday! Can't wait. Good luck!

We got a great airbed from Costco to spend our first night. This is our second home (vacation) so we did not move anything down. The mattress has a head board and a memory foam and is great. $130.

We bought our bedroom set from Southern Lifestyles over the telephone a couple of weeks before our close, and it was delivered and set up prior to our closing. It was nice to pick up our keys at closing and go to our house and see that the furniture was already delivered.

Since they're owned by the developer, they have access to your home before you close.

We also found that their prices were competitive with other stores in the area.

Just closed Monday dec 3. I ordered beds from southern and they had them all set up.made it so easy to walk in and not be thinking of where to sleep. Prices seemed competitive but even if they were a bit more, worth it! Don't forget to pack the sheets, we bought a king ,have a smaller bed back north .oops didn't fit

Thanks for the continued information regarding my question about mattress purchase for our new home.

It appears that there are easy fixes to my problem, so we will visit with those stores that deliver prior to closing and order our bed from one of them.

Now I am off to order window coverings from 48-hour blinds. We met with Rick on our last visit to TV. So in addition to all the positive comments noted on TOTV we also had a very positive discussion with Rick. We are going to put shutters on some of the windows. They require a longer lead time than we are giving Rick, so he will put blinds on those windows as a temporary solution.
