Annual golf cart insurance. Can be obtained via homeowners insurance. ~$100/ year

But you get a free rental during the build.

I was told by The Villages Golf Cart
New 4 seater with upgrades
$20,000
5-6 months but that time is dropping a little as they catch up
And no free cart while waiting

There is a trail fee if you use your own cart. It is currently $4.00 for nine holes on the executive courses. You can pay a flat rate for the year.

Carts are selling for what the market will bear. Right now demand is extremely high and supply is very low.

The same can be said for cars, houses, food, gasoline and pretty much everything else we spend money on.

Economics 101.

Had to buy ours in Daytona. There are plenty there but it is an hour and half each way.

No credit cards accepted at Executive courses, just Championship courses.

Starter shack - no. Golf/pro shops - yes.

Cfdettmer 11-24-2021 03:25 PM

Used to. Not anymore. They don’t have any carts for free use while you wait. At least for now.

What is it about the above statement that makes me NOT want a golf cart??

Insurance (mine, anyway) will include this as part of your golf cart policy. As I recall the cost to add it was negligible.

Well what is the procedure if you have an issue with your cart? With these rescue services they will make sure you and your cart get home within minutes from when you call. Don’t know if all are 24/7 but the one I have has that in their name. I had a flat tire and not only did he pick it up and bring it home he repaired the tire which had two finish nails in it. Yes I gave him a $25 tip
