Default greyhound racing near the villages

My father-in-law is currently visiting and would like to visit a dog racing track. Are there any tracks near the villages? Thanks

I think that the Sanford Orlando dog track in Bogie Shooters link is also a little over an hour from TV.

Dog racing, especially for greyhounds, is very dangerous for the dogs. There are numerous grayhound rescue groups that rehome these beautiful dogs. Dogs don't normally "race" on their own. This is a human intervention that is inhumane.

Dog racing to me is almost as cruel as dog fighting. Dogs are not meant to race. Greyhounds are a very nervous breed to begin with, and the stress of racing is terrible.

My friend Adopted a greyhound from the track. The dog had several broken toes. He had been kept in a cage since birth and only let out to race. I agree that dog racing is inhumane.

I agree that it is inhumane. I put it up there with bull fighting and the circus. Will we ever learn that animals weren't put on this earth to entertain us. It's sad.

Last summer I went to Baraboo, WI for a circus music convention. I play in that group and love to play circus music. However we performed at the Circus Museum in Baraboo and they had some circus acts. One in particular included elephants. I'm sure they were well taken care of but to see them perform made me sad as I don't think elephants were put on this earth to do circus acts. Circus music I love, circuses I don't.

I am do not eat any meat because it is inhumane the way we raise and kill animals. We would all be healthier if we all did not eat meat and this would help reduce medicare costs and help balance the budget.
