I use Comcast for internet as well as telephone, but Century Link also provides internet service, I believe DSL.

We close on our home July 5th so I've been checking on available services. It seems through Century Link I'll be able to bundle everything since they offer high speed internet, plus they have Directv, landline phone and Verizon Cellphone. All the services that I need.

What was confusing was yesterday I got a call from a company called Clear Link asking me if I wanted my cable hooked up. Since I was called unsolicited long distance they caught me off guard and I thought they were Century Link and I couldn't understand why they only had Comcast and not Directv. Then after a couple minutes I figured out they were a different company affiliated with Comcast.

Here's a link to Century Link Internet and they have 4 speeds available http://www.centurylink.com/Pages/Per...I/hsiPlans.jsp

Comcast - pleased with the high speed Internet connection. Very fast. We have the triple play. Do not like the constant raising of prices on the cable television.

We close on July 5th, too, but chose Comcast triple play bundle. $99 per month for a year, free HBO.

Much better than what we pay up here in NJ.

If you're happy with Comcast Cable then that's a great price. We switched to Directv in 2008 and we've been spoiled, I love Hi-Def and currently we have over 100 HD channels and with Comcast here they only offer about 50 channels in HD. Plus we'll probably want to add NFL Sunday ticket when we move and Directv is the only one that has that. Century Link also bundles, for example internet 768kbps speed is only $14.99 a month bundled and $19.99 for 1.5Mbps speed.

Forgot to mention that we have HD too...for one TV. Of course as you add TVs the charges start to accumulate.

the 99 is actually about 113-120 depending on equipment and after taxes and fees after a year it jumps to 129.99 plus rental taxes and fees about 145.00
