Just moved in this weekend we had our washer/dryer dropped off and installed and the guys only had a round dryer vent that would not accommodate the oval tube in the garage. Without going to home depot just for an oval dryer vent does anyone know if there is an appliance store etc. that would carry something like this? I tried to look on the Villages GPS and could not see anything - except maybe the hardware store?

Pat/Bill: Not sure what type of dryer vent hose you were supplied with, or bought in advance, but wither the semi-rigid or the ribbed flex style dryer vent hose should be able to fit and be clamped to an oval dryer vent tube. Just takes a little work "forming" the round end of the vent hose to the vent tube before tightening the clamp that holds it on. Really shouldn't need to go buy anything else.
