What has happened to The service and food @ Lil Bits restaurant. They had a homerun

We use to go to little bits after church on Sunday, but about 3 weeks ago we noticed a difference as well. The food was good and large portions, but the ladies working there seemed to have a real attitude. Our server knocked over a drink on our table which was no big deal, but when I asked her if she was going to replace it 8 minutes later she acted as if I asking her to solve the world's problems. She must have been from New York

We went there when they first opened. After we got by the waiterless service, we ordered. My wife ordered the patty melt. After considerale chewing we found out that they forgot to remove the wrapper from the cheese. We never went back.

My wife and I have been there twice. Each time the food and service was below average.
We won't go back, too many other restaurants with better food and service.

I'm from LI NY....I'm friendly.

However NY does seem to have that reputation. Why? I'm curious. Most of my immediate family lives in Texas and they tell me the same thing but they don't have an explanation. Is it something we did that I'm not aware of.... A pizza war or a bagel bombing I don't know about?

agree, when it opened we really enjoyed the food, the service was good, the price was fair. We went there saturday and the food was not very good although the service was okay. We even asked if the resturant had changed owners and the waitress looked at us like why would we ask such a question. She informed us the original owners still were there. We will probably not go back there.
