Default Looking for suggestions on accomadations

Hi Villagers... I am coming down to TV February 13th... I'd like to stay about a week -- as I am looking at real estate - lifestyles -etc... and really think The Villages Community will be my next and final life venture.. I was wondering if anyone would know of an apartment or room in home for short term rental... I am a 55 year old - widow - wonderful references.. low maintanance - willing to help out in anyway... Like a lot of us -- I would like to avoid the higher price hotels if possible... Thanks to all who can help..

If you end up in a hotel, the Hampton Inn on 466 is where we stayed and it was clean and as affordable as anything. It's "high season" here so I'm not sure what else is out there to meet your needs. Good luck in your search.

I assume that you didn't want to participate in their lifestyle preview program? I imagine it's too late now to get something for next week but worth a call.

Look at the above 2 links.
I have serious doubts about finding something on a weeks notice but......
ya never know.

The Marriout Towne Place Suites are very nice with 2 burner range, dishes, dishwasher, flat screen tv etc for about $100/nite. And they're right off Spanish Springs Town Square.

The only problem I see in renting at hotel is not having a guest pass to participate in the 'lifestyles'. However I'd bet if you walk into a sales center and explained what you're doing they might accomadate you.

the guest pass is an issue for exploring on your own. a sales rep may well accommodate you with one if not part of a lifestyle preview. when we stayed at the hotel, we just had the sales rep shuttle us around for a couple/few days

enjoy your say. the lifestyle at a patio villa is pretty nice and affordable with plenty of perks
